The team at AvidDog has been fantastic working with me and my new puppy! I’m so glad I started early with them and have used both the in-home training and just finished a board and train. The team is knowledgeable and professional – and fun. Strong recommendation for anyone wanting to have a well trained dog and take advantage of Wilmington’s dog friendly environment. Jenny & the Avid team really did a fantastic job with our dog Boost we are super pleased with the results!!!! Amber was the trainer that took home our dog Boost and she did an amazing job keeping us updated with my dogs progress multiple times each day for 3 weeks!! She’s awesome! The team went over and beyond to train and to make sure my dog was getting the attention he deserves! It’s so worth the money!!! 100% recommend. Complete 360 with my dog he’s so well behaved but still has the same personality as before!!

AvidDog was a life saver when it came to training our new pet. He was hyper, bad behaved and always bit us when he got too excited. When we got him back he was a whole new dog and we can’t thank them enough for the amazing work they did training our new puppy!! I can’t recommend them enough!!

My dog Remi was not listening and had had some aggressive episodes that included snarling and biting when scared. He has some major anxiety and some strange phobias. I had tried several types of training with individual trainers with no success. Avid Dog was a godsend! Their positive training techniques, patience and love for my dog made all the difference! He spend three weeks at bootcamp and came back a changed dog! Now he listens to and responds to commands and seems a lot more confident! We continue to work on the phobias but overall it has been a great experience. Highly highly recommend this company. It was a life-changing experience!

Jenny, Amber and Haley are amazing! We sent 2 of our babies to Jenny. Maya a sweet mild Golden mix…that is until she sees another dog and went ballistic! Now we can take her to outdoor restaurants and to the beach. No reaction to other dogs when they walk by. Its a miracle!Then there is Buddy a 6 month old pit/shepherd/mutt mix who is a crazy ball of energy. Walks no problem now…beach and boat rides,, well, he loves it and we love taking him. He heals, sits, places and stays. Recall is great too.. of course he is still a puppy but we will continue to build on what Jenny and her team have put in place. I am so thankful to these dedicated ladies. They have made having our dogs so much more enjoyable!

The trainers at AvidDog are remarkable. Haley was our trainer and my wife and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. She took excellent care of Paprika and was sure to keep us informed with every step if the training. What i enjoyed the most was the training my wife and I were able to partake in afterwards. Haley ensured that we were aware of how to best communicate with our dog and continues to follow up with us to ensure there are no set backs. I can not recommend AvidDog enough.
